Teaching:
My Approach to Teaching:
As an experienced movement and performance educator, I have taught choreography and creative practices in Poland, the United Kingdom, Peru, and the Czech Republic. My approach is grounded in creating an engaging, inclusive, and supportive environment where students are encouraged to explore movement with confidence and curiosity. I place great importance on recognising each individual’s needs and creative voice, blending technical training with personal expression to support artistic and personal growth.
Contemporary Classes for Adults
These classes are inspired by Isparra and release techniques, and are designed to help students refine their technical skills whilst also exploring the creative aspects of performance-making.
Contemporary Classes for Children and Young Adults:
These classes are also inspired by the Isparra technique and release techniques, which is particularly well suited to working with younger groups, offering a gentle yet disciplined approach to engaging the body. Participants are encouraged to move intuitively, developing a refined quality of movement through playful exploration and focused practice. Sessions are flexibly adapted to meet the varying needs of children and young people, taking into account the group’s age, energy, and learning goals. This includes adjusting the pace and tone of each class accordingly, while ensuring a fun, supportive environment that encourages creativity and expression.
Choreography / Creative Workshop:
These immersive workshops offer a space for deepening somatic awareness, creative expression, and connection through movement. Each session begins with a technical and embodied warm-up influenced by Isparra, release technique, and elements of my own evolving movement practice. This foundation integrates breathwork, voice, and sensory awareness, helping participants tune into the body with presence and intention.
The creative portion of the workshop invites participants to explore movement as a form of inquiry and self-discovery. Through guided improvisation, group tasks, and compositional tools, students are encouraged to generate and shape their own material in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Sessions are designed to be adaptable, responding to the unique goals, needs, and energy of each group. Whether the focus is creative development, embodied presence, or performance-making, the workshop provides space to explore movement with curiosity, authenticity, and a sense of connection.
